On January 17, 2025, the Shanxi National Defense Science, Technology and Industry Bureau organized a scientific achievement appraisal meeting in Changzhi City, Shanxi Province for the "Continuous & Intelligent Relay Initiating Device Production Technology and Equipment R&D Project" jointly developed by Shanxi Huhua Group Co., Ltd., Shenzhen Chuangzhe Automation Technology Co., Ltd., and Changchun Huiwei Technology Co., Ltd. The appraisal committee, comprising seven experts and chaired by Professor-Level Senior Engineer Bai Chunguang from the China Ordnance Industry Explosives Engineering and Safety Technology Research Institute, conducted a comprehensive evaluation of the project's innovation, practicality, and market prospects.
During the meeting, experts reviewed technical summary reports, examined appraisal materials, and conducted spot tests of product performance. After questioning and discussion, the committee unanimously approved the project.
The project incorporates an X-ray detector for raw material impurity detection prior to feeding, effectively identifying hard metal impurities (>2mm) including iron, stainless steel, copper, aluminum, and plastic to prevent contamination. The automated equipment and control system enable continuous, automated, and intelligent production across processes: feeding, mixing, casting, gradient curing, core mold loosening, mold removal, unloading of feeder, feeder and feeder powder separation, feeder powder collection, mold cleaning and storage, core mold oiling, component assembly (base cap, booster charge, shell, top cap, feeder), assembly inspection, cap labeling, final product appearance inspection, packaging, box labeling, and final product conveyance. The technology supports flexible production for multiple product specifications with rapid online product switching. Hazardous operations are completed in a fully automated way, with manual involvement limited to screening feeding, inspection, and troubleshooting. The system features safety interlocks, fault self-diagnosis, 500kg/h production capacity, and ≤5 online operators, enhancing both efficiency and intrinsic safety in relay initiating device production.
The appraisal committee concluded the project is "domestically leading" and recommended approval. This successful appraisal not only validates the continuous and intelligent production technology and equipment but also charts a course for intelligent and digital manufacturing in initiating device production. The achievement integrates digital and information technologies for intelligent monitoring and efficient production management, injecting robust momentum into advancing initiating device manufacturing.
This technological breakthrough exemplifies Chuangzhe Technology's alignment with national high-quality development policies for the civil explosives industry, significantly strengthening its core competitiveness and providing new technical impetus for the "15th Five-Year Plan" period.
