Scaling New Technological Heights: Yahua Mianyang & Shenzhen Chuangzhe"s "Flexible & Intelligent Electronic Detonator Assembly and Packaging Production Line Technology & Equipment" Project Passes Appraisal.

On November 1, 2022, the Department of Work Safety under the Ministry of Industry and Information Technology organized a scientific achievement appraisal meeting at Mianyang Industrial Co., Ltd. of Yaxing Group (hereinafter referred to as "Yahua Mianyang"). Chaired by Second-Level Inspector Xiao Yuehua, a seven-member expert committee evaluated the "Flexible & Intelligent Electronic Detonator Assembly and Packaging Production Line Technology & Equipment" R&D project jointly developed by Yahua Mianyang and Shenzhen Chuangzhe Automation Technology Co., Ltd. (hereinafter referred to as "Shenzhen Chuangzhe").

Experts reviewed project development reports, technical summaries, site inspections, documentation audits, and spot tests of production line efficiency and product performance. Following discussions, the committee unanimously approved the project.

The jointly developed production line achieves the entire process continuous, automated production of electronic detonators—from lead wire processing, assembly, packaging, to final product warehousing. It integrates robotics, industrial vision, OCR recognition, and information technologies to enable flexible adaptation to multi-specification electronic detonators with varying lead wire lengths. The system provides full-process quality inspection, traceability, and safety control while supporting digital equipment management, production task coordination, quality trend alerts, maintenance reminders, and unsafe behavior detection.With only two operators directly handling detonators on the line and a production capacity of 3,500 detonators per hour, the committee confirmed the project's overall technology—from lead wire winding to automatic warehousing—has reached the internationally advanced level.

This appraisal advances the implementation of the 14th Five-Year Safety Development Plan, promoting a safer, more efficient, and intelligent electronic detonator production. Future efforts will be made to accelerate technological innovation to empower high-quality development in the electronic detonator sector.
